We bring together sports dentists and healthcare professionals to protect athletes’ oral and dental health.
Sports Dentistry Association, in Turkey and worldwide, contributes positively to the overall health of amateur and/or professional athletes and supports the enhancement of their performance. In this context, it provides services such as oral screenings, dental treatments, supply of custom-made protective and performance-enhancing mouthguards, trauma treatments both on the field and in the clinic, while also enabling academic and ethical studies, and supporting the education of dentists, coaches, parents, and athletes.

Assistance to Athletes
Sports Dentistry is focuses on the prevention and treatment of dentofacial injuries and oral diseases related to sports and exercise. Through treatments and support that contribute to improving an athlete’s performance, it works in a multidisciplinary manner with other fields that provide assistance to athletes.
Free Movement in the EU
Sports Medicine, which has existed since Ancient Greece, was recognized as a medical specialty in the second half of the 20th century and, in 2024, was officially acknowledged as equivalent within the European Union, granting sports physicians the right to free movement and practice within the EU. Sports dentists also work alongside sports physicians.
